Examples of My Work

Blogs

I tend to use blogs for individual projects, so they are
not always meant to be ongoing.

Lewis Library Practicum     - This blog was developed to document some of the work I did as a part of my practicum at Loyola University's Lewis Library.

Academic Media Library Collection Resources     - This blog is about collection development. For this project, I created a fictitious university and created a collection development policy, acquisitions policy and procedures, identified selection tools, and described staff responsibilities.

Filing Above The Bar     - This blog helped me to learn about internet-based technologies and web design. It was created for a class taught by Michael Stephens .

Scholarly Communications

I have many ideas about topics that I am eager to publish about.
I look forward to adding publications to this list.

The Young Librarian Series     - This is a short piece about Online Public Access Catalogs from the perspective of a generation Y or millennial librarian.

World Libraries     - I worked as a student intern for this open access, peer-reviewed library and information science journal during the 2008 fall semester.

Events and Talks

This is a list of events on which I worked as a speaker or organizer.

The 1st Annual Archie Motley Archives and Manuscripts Internship Fair     - As the President of the Society of American Archivists Student Chapter at Dominican University, I was one of the key organizers of this annual event.
